ENGLISH PROJECT: Transforming our Pedagogical Practices

OBJECTIVE

Generate pedagogical strategies that allow access to a transverse knowledge in teaching learning of English in a fun, creative and innovative way.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT

The project aims to improve classroom practices, fostering in students a better appropriation and application of knowledge of English, enhancing communication skills a perspective critical and appreciative of its context, that allows to create and recreate the pedagogical work.

This project has as a goal strengthen our abilities in English, since the implementation of innovative strategies and experiences of class with our teacher and classmates.

On the other hand, the project permit students improve their skills, share information, learn to work together, know their territory or environment and day by day build better knowledge for their personal and professional life.

Moreover, all the implemented strategies have enabled students be able to make different innovative projects and didactic material such as: storytelling, cartoons, mini books, baseboards about our touristic places, posters, videos, short audios, plays, games and many other experiences of class which enriches the teaching learning process in English.

A lot of these material have been made in class and outdoors with the help of teacher, classmates and family parents. The work is always based on the own territory, needs and social situations where students enjoy and learn with others.

Finally, the project aims to have an impact on institutional educative process, on the region and mainly on students' personal and professional life.
